Rumour of USA planning to seize Pakistan’s nuclear weapons
Credible? – New War Rumors: U.S. Plans To Seize Pakistan?s Nuclear Arsenal, strategy.com, 16 Oct 10, Quote -Two recent news items emanating from the United States have begun to reverberate in Pakistan and give rise to speculation that growing American drone strikes and NATO helicopter attacks in that country may be the harbingers of far broader actions: Nothing less than the expansion of the West?s war in Afghanistan into Pakistan with the ultimate goal of seizing the nation?s nuclear weapons.
The News International, Pakistan?s largest English-language newspaper, published a report on October 13 based on excerpts from American journalist Bob Woodward?s recently released volume ?Obama?s Wars? which stated that during a trilateral summit between the presidents of the U.S., Afghanistan and Pakistan on May 6 of 2009 Pakistani head of state Asif Ali Zardari accused Washington of being behind Taliban attacks inside his country with the intent to use them so ?the US could invade and seize its nuclear weapons.? A sophisticated malworm such as Stuxnet could potentially include code that would cause uranium enriching centrifuges to explode under high pressure, or at a certain date. Did it actually do it? There were reports that Iran’s uranium enrichment plant at the Natanz facility was attacked by Stuxnet and sustained damage. An earlier report suggested that in 2009 that site suffered a serious nuclear accident that reduced the number of uranium enriching centrifuges by at least 25%. Was Stuxnet the reason?

The Criminality of Nuclear Deterrence Today, Media With Conscience,By Francis Boyle , 10 Oct 10, “……………..I was brought up to believe that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had saved my father’s life and thus made mine possible, although my father never raised me to be anti-Japanese or anti-German. USA still ready for nuclear strike against North Korea
United States can use nuclear weapons against North Korea?4press 10 October 2010 tNorth Korea and United States of America are definitely not the best of friends and this sour relationship is not something new. From the 1950s to 2010, it’s been sixty years but things have not changed a bit. Now, if the declassified and several of the United States Government papers are to be believed, United States always thought of using nuclear weapons as an option.Robert Gates, the United States Defense secretary made a statement that he believes every possible options can be undertaken to deal with North Korea just last April; something that many think of as a sign of possible future usage of atomic weapons over North Korea.Under such circumstances, North Korea is describing its own Nuclear weapon program as a safety measure to deal with the rising threats being imposed by United States of America. Incidentally, these documents were released on the occasion of 60th anniversary of Korean War…… 4press » Blog Archive » United States can use nuclear weapons against North Korea?

UK’s new Trident nuclear missiles likely to be postponed – forever
Postponing most of the investment until after the next general election—due by 2015—would make it easier for an incoming government to ditch Trident or, more likely, prevaricate for so long that it amounts to the same thing. That prospect pleases Lib Dems but dismays many Tory MPs,

Nuclear missile shields are a provocation, not a prevention
No missile shield system will be able to prevent every missile from reaching its target. The expansion of the shield encourages more nations to develop means of penetrating it. The penetration and detonation of one modern nuclear weapon and its radioactive fallout would be so devastating as to traumatize any nation and its neighbors.
Stop the Missile Shield Now PETER G. COHEN FOR BUZZFLASH/TRUTHOUT, 20 Sept 10, The United States is now installing a missile shield from Northern Poland through the Mediterranean and Black Sea to Asia and Japan.
