The Leveson inquiry promised that bloggers and internet groups would NOT be targeted but ATVOD has unilaterally changed the rules of the Leveson recommendations

The thing is…..natural backgound radiation has been there since the start of the universe, but when Nuclear facilities release what they call the “plume” they are adding man made radionuclides into the atmosphere. Now here’s an example……What happens when you add too much water to a cup,it overflows…..On the other hand very selfish scientists are saying the contrary and saying that nuclear power is very safe. Funny thing is there’s thousands if not millions of files available on how it makes people sick and very few on how it doesn’t……And the plume is released every 15-20 mins.

    Did anyone know they actually have Cancer sites for Adults as well as Children………”No! I am atomicaly dead serious!” Cancer sites are not a conspiracy theorie and very true, well in any case they are for those who study them. And If I were any activist on the subject I would study the relationship between the U.N and this little problem we have with over 200 forms of cancers nowadays.Hey! How come the tobacco companies have to pay for lung cancer and these companies don’t have too…..

    BY TECHNOGENIC RADIONUCLIDES ON THE TERRITORY
    OF THE USSR AND RUSSIA IN 1954–2000

Kim UDC 551.510.72+550.378+556.531.4+551.464 The dynamics of radioactive contamination of air, soil, and water, caused by atmospheric nuclear weapons tests and the Chernobyl accident, over the entire time of regular observations of the radioactive contamination of the environment on the territory of the USSR and, after 1991, in Russia is examined. The reasons for the change in the radioactive contamination of these objects in nature are analyzed.
    The first nuclear explosions, conducted in 1945, were produced primarily local contamination of the environment by technogenic radionuclides. During the powerful thermonuclear explosions in 1952–1954, radioactive products were thrown into the stratosphere and rapidly propagated around the planet, which caused universal radioactive contamination of the primary parts of the environment – the air, water, and soil. In the USSR, systematic daily observations of the fallout of radioactive products of nuclear explosions from the atmosphere onto to the ground began in March 1954 at 120 meteorolog- ical stations. The Central Institute of Forecasts at the Hydrometeorological Service provided synoptic support for nuclear weapons tests on the test areas in the USSR. In addition to providing forecasts of atmospheric transport of the radioactive clouds produced by nuclear explosions, operational information on the results of daily observations of β- and γ-radiation at meteorological sites was collected and analyzed. The study of global radioactive contamination of objects in the environment by the products of nuclear explosions and the scientific–methodological support for this work were concentrated in the Obninsk test area of the Institute of Applied Geophysics of the Soviet Academy of Sciences (now the Scientific and Industrial Association Taifun). This was the begin- ning of a system for collecting, processing, and generalizing information about the radiation conditions on the territory of the country and publishing yearbooks. For individual types of observations, the maximum numbers of points where radiation monitoring of the environ- ment was performed were as follows: 2467 for the flux of β radiation from the earth’s surface and the exposure dose rate of γ radiation, 527 for radioactive fallout (flux of radioactive aerosols from the atmosphere onto the earth’s surface), 89 for the concentration of radioactive aerosols in air, 3 for the radioactive inert gas 85Kr in air, 140 for 90Sr in rivers and reservoirs, 37 for 90Sr in sea water, 47 for 3H fallout from the atmosphere and the 3H concentration in precipitation, 62 for the 3H concen- tration in rivers and reservoirs, and 6 for 3H in sea water. The radionuclide contamination density of soil was determined, as a rule, during expeditionary examinations of the territory of the USSR or individual regions. Soil samples were obtained during only two years at the meteorological stations in the country. Expeditionary work was also performed on seas and in the troposphere. With time attention was also devoted to monitoring the environment in regions containing industrial objects which posed a potential radiation hazard. After the nuclear atmospheric explosions were terminated, this avenue became crucial and the main content of the published yearbooks on the radiation conditions in the country (see, for example, [1]).
