The latest in abuse from the pro thorium nuclear trolls

brendan @totterdell91 so aside from promoting outright lies & political bastardry @ChristinaMac1 what other lunacy are you selling
Brendan@totterdell91  Personally I believe your anti nuclear phobias have made you into a bitter twisted & seriously evil, duplicitous individual @ChristinaMac1
John Randall@thjr19@ChristinaMac1 Nuclear power has as much in common with A bombs as fire has with incendiary bombs. So, you & I should start a campaign, OK?.

John Randall@thjr19 You don’t give a rat’s rear-end about anybody’s future @ChristinaMac1, all you see is your tiny bigoted little world. Put up or shut up.
John Randall @thjr19 @ChristinaMac1 . Are you really so stupid? Go away. Go play in your little sandbox.

  1. Thorium is far from an established technology.

    • From extensive reading that I have done, it seems that thorium technology is about 70 years until actually functioning. That, along with the diseconomics of it, probably explains why the mainstream nuclear apologists and critics generally ignore it.
Thorium reactors could not have any effect on climate change – especially given that delay.
But what they could do, is to prolong the “nuclear dream” in the minds of public and governments.

    • Ha ha – why should being “in one’s 70s” make one become a feeble target for John Randall and co?
What fascinates me is that he and his very small band of pro thrium tweeters seem to do this as a full time job. If you bother to read their stuff , all they do is to regurgitate propaganda about thorium reactors and LFTRs – same old stuff recycled, repeated. Either they are paid to do this, or work in that field, or they are cranks.
Self-appointed scientific “experts” they take umbrage at anyone else having an opinion. I sometimes ponder if there are mental health problems behind the invective, especially as I would be pretty confident that, particularly Randall’s outbursts, are counter-productive.

    • Thorium “nukular” technology requires Uranium 233.

Long may your site’s trolls be rendered ineffective by your supporters!

Good eye, mate. ‘ave a nice day!
