Stuxnet computer worm paralysing Iran’s nuclear program
Russian experts and officials have been warning for several months that the Bushehr power plant has become too dangerous to operate because of the Stuxnet infection
…..Iran was forced to shut down its uranium enrichment plant at Natanz last November and removed nearly 1,000 centrifuges because of malfunctions caused by Stuxnet.

“Star” computer virus joins “Stuxnet” attack on Iran’s nuclear program
Iran: Country under attack by second computer virus, The Washington Post, By Thomas Erdbrink and Joby Warrick, , April 25, TEHRAN —An Iranian military official revealed on Monday that the country had been attacked by a new computer virus apparently aimed at nuclear facilities, an acknowledgment that seemed to suggest a broader campaign by foreign saboteurs to undermine Iran’s atomic energy program.
The new computer worm has been dubbed “Stars” by the Iranians and described as an “espionage virus,” although few details were made public. Iran opposition backers claims find of secret Iranian nuclear facility, By Pam Benson, CNN April 7, 2011 Washington — Supporters of an Iranian opposition group claimed Thursday they have information about another secret facility tied to the Iranian government’s nuclear program.
According to Alireza Jafarzadeh, an Iranian-American with ties to the People’s Mujahedeen of Iran, the facility is at a site referred to as TABA, just west of Tehran, and is designed to manufacture parts for centrifuges used to enrich uranium, a key component for civilian nuclear power as well as for nuclear weapons. Earthquake danger to Iran’s nuclear plant
Iran is one of the most seismic countries in the word. The Islamic Republic experiences at least one slight earthquake every day and even moderate earthquakes have killed thousands of people in more remote areas. Iran is surrounded by tectonically active zones and has experienced several heavy earthquakes in the recent years striking all sides of the country…..Surprisingly little attention is paid by scholars and the media to how earthquakes could possibly affect Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Zimbabwe‘s foreign minister, said the sanctions – which prohibit member states from providing Iran with raw materials that it could use to make a nuclear weapon – were unfair and hypocritical.
He said that Zimbabwe, which is also the subject of sanctions over human rights abuses perpetrated by President Robert Mugabe’s supporters, would benefit economically from the agreement.

Iran’s nuclear reactor in serious safety trouble?
Signs of serious trouble at Iran’s nuclear reactor, guardian.co.uk, Julian Borger, 26 Feb 2011, “……Today, Iran confirmed a UN report that it will have to remove the uranium fuel rod assemblies from the reactor core, a significant setback.The reactor has been under construction since the Shah’s era in the 1970’s. The fuel assemblies were finally introduced into the reactor four months ago and it was meant to start producing electricity in January, but that deadline was missed.
