Dilution is not the Solution! Fukushima soil to be spread all over Japan and, ergo, in export food

Do not use soil contaminated with radioactivity for public enterprise!
My name is Ohashi, a housewife living in Nipponmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture.
Demonstration project is going to be carried out for reusing polluted soil that was released to eliminate radioactive substances diffused in the environment due to TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident in public enterprise projects!
The place is our Nipponmatsu Ichihara District.
Radioactive contaminated soil decontaminated was promised to be transported to an intermediate storage facility. However, contrary to this promise, the Ministry of the Environment is about to transform the policy to reuse polluted soil in public enterprise nationwide.

They shall say after conducting a demonstration project in Nipponmatsu City, “Safety and usefulness have been confirmed.” To overlook this leads to using the contaminated soil in public use nationwide.
Therefore, we ask for your approval to ask the Minister of the Environment to withdraw the plan of “Dirty Soil Reuse Demonstration Project”. Please lend me your support! Thank you

NATO versus the Russia and China! April 2018 – The last Days?

Answering a question about Taiwan – Will there be a war with the USA? “We will see what will happen” said the Chinese Ambassador to the USA

werebuggered

Posted to nuclear-news.net by Shaun McGee 6th April 2018

Following up on the video posted by Chris Busby concerning the threat of nuclear war looming where he mentions the issue of xenophobic and threatening rhetoric from the UK and USA, he mentioned the Chinese Petro Yuan.

For your information there are some serious issues occurring, that might explain the ramping up of the rhetoric to both Russia and China concerning the blame game from NATO partners. The situation today is on a par with the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Print

Firstly, in the UK and USA there is the mid term elections coming up and the local elections in the UK. This rhetoric will help the Governments of both countries pander to their home audience and distracting citizens from various embarrassing matters.

Secondly, The Chinese have made some incredibly strong statements not widely reported and have made some very public tactical moves. The Russian angry statements in recent weeks are well reported and I will not cover them here.

China`s head of the military went to Moscow in a very public way a couple of days ago;

Chinese defence chief says his visit to Moscow is a signal to the US General Wei Fenghe said his talks with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu reflected the growing military cooperation between the two former Communist rivals PUBLISHED : Wednesday, 04 April, 2018 http://www.scmp.com/news/china/diplomacy-defence/article/2140182/chinas-defence-chief-calls-his-moscow-trip-signal-us

A recent statement (2 days ago) on Trumps latest threat against China has just been responded too by a Chinese official;

Answering a question about Tawain – Will there be a war with the USA? “We will see what will happen” said the Chinese Ambassador to the USA (@19 mins approx) 4th March 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giBRQ1q1yJg

In a stunning revelation China has made clear that the USA has not held any talks for some time now on trade. The recent Chinese officials statement (2 hours ago) from China is here;

MOFCOM: No bilateral talks held recently over trade friction between China, US https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9Wfe9hL410

Thirdly, behind the scenes and not very well reported have been recent moves within the EU to clamp down on Tax evasion and other more corrupt financial practices which much of the main stream media are not discussing in any great detail. It seems as though the USA Petro- Dollar model and UK financial industries are heavily under attack;

EU efforts to clamp down on tax evasion and financial corruption in the UK NOT being reported by the BBC etc , we see more reasons for a distraction from the real issues outlined on this article https://nuclear-news.net/2018/04/02/the-problem-with-the-bbc-and-brexit-response-to-scientists-for-the-eu/

And to support Chris Busby and other scientists from around the world that say radiation is far worse than the US Pentagon and the UK Ministry of Defence would ever admit thus rendering the outcome of a nuclear war far more disastrous (as much as 10,000 times more) than military planners have projected, this might be worth a read. How they cover up the real effects of radiation on the environment and human health;

“…So our new case is based on Uranium; it entirely by-passes all the argument about “dose” on which previous appeals were fought. It is the chemical composition and genetic effects of the internal Uranium which is now the issue. The Blake Determination is therefore irrelevant, except insofar as we can employ previous reports by both our experts and other experts to argue that there was Uranium contamination. And there is plenty of evidence for that U-235, the fissile isotope in the bombs was even measured in the south west coastal area by the New Zealand surveys in the 1980s, but was wrongly characterised as Radium dial material, a cover-up that continues. I trekked down to the Case management hearing in London on 31 st January, presided over by a new Judge, Fiona Monk. The MoD began by asking that Blake’s decision about what cancers could not be caused by radiation should be accepted by any new Tribunal. Amazingly, she refused: saying that each case must be re-heard on its merits. Then I said that we were bringing in a new argument—radiochemical genotoxicity….” https://nuclear-news.net/2018/04/05/british-nuclear-test-veterans-update-fissionline-54/

#Secrecy breeds distrust – Chris Busby comments on the #Skripal incident – #Nuclear war an option?

813887

Dr Busby says a few words about the Russian Nerve Agent issue. He speaks as an expert in this area. Chris worked for several years at the famous Wellcome Research laboratories in Beckenham, London as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Physical Chemistry. His job, at the basic level, was to help determine the structure and origin of pharmaceutical compounds. So, he is an expert in this area. He also carried out similar work at Queen Mary College London for his first PhD and synthesised complex organic chemicals. From that, he relates that the synthesis of a specific small organic chemical like the supposed Novichoks is not very difficult. Most synthetic organic chemists could knock up small quantities of the 234 compound, given the structure.

Mainly, there is no way that the compound that was detected in the Skripal attack could be traced to a Russian laboratory (or any laboratory) by any lab unless the lab already had a sample known to come from the Russian laboratory (or the source laboratory).

The determination and identification methods mainly depend on mass spectrometric fragmentation patterns, and include the spectrum of stray molecular fragments from impurities associated with the synthesis route. This is how Wellcome located Patent jumping, and took this evidence ( from Busby and colleagues) into the courts. All chemists know this, and that is why the Porton head said what he said, as any chemist would have been able to raise this issue and show that he was lying, if he said anything else. It is basic physical chemistry.

So, the new headline in the Times, about a secret Russian laboratory is also bogus. What is also clear is that the mass spectrum of the A234 compound was put on the NIST database in 1998 by a worker from the USA chemical warfare laboratory. Chris therefore concludes that this whole affair is a tissue of lies and misdirection, rather like the WMD Iraq scenario and is aimed at creating a war with Russia that no one can win and where all life will lose. Why is this being done?

Because the only way for the rich and powerful to escape the coming US Economic catastrophe caused by the destruction of the petrodollar is to pull the house down and hope to escape in the general confusion and disaster from the wreckage.

Cyprus plans to lodge protests over the construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant a few dozen kilometres from the east Mediterranean island nation. Government spokesman Prodromos Prodromou said in Nicosia on Thursday that the Foreign Ministry will spearhead protests over the plant’s future operation on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, AP reports.

According to Prodromou, Ankara has ignored concerns expressed by many including the European Parliament. One worry raised is that the Akkuyu area, where the plant is to be built, is earthquake-prone. He added Ankara also discounted studies about the plant’s possible environmental impact and failed to consult neighbouring countries. On Wednesday, the Turkish and Russian presidents launched the start of construction of the Russian-built plant.

BAD CHEMISTRY? Walter #Litvinenko, Father of Alexander Litvinenko #polonium210 #IAEA #SKRIPAL #Novichok #A234

The British authorities explicitly cite the poisoning of the former FSB agent Alexander Litvinenko in London as circumstantial evidence in the Skripal case. The Russians did it before, they will do it again, that’s the essence of the UK’s allegations against Russia. But doesn’t London itself have the capability, the intent and the motive for this kind of national character assassination? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Walter Litvinenko, Father of Alexander Litvinenko.

British Nuclear Test Veterans Update – Fissionline 54

main

Posted to nuclear-news.net by Shaun McGee 5th April 2018

This is an extract of an article published by Prof. Chris Busby in this months Fissionline magazine sent to me by a concerned member of the public. In it Prof. Busby discusses a change of strategy that has been submitted to the courts concerning health damage to the British Nuclear test Veterans. However, not only is the statutory response time for this submission been exceeded (by some weeks) by the UK “Misery” of Defence (MoD) but also his emails were hacked which delayed the submission of the final draft of the papers that supports the argument (Fusion Doctrine at work?). Here is a link to the Fissionline Magazine which has many interesting nuclear related articles and please support the Fissionline Magazine as it is being filtered (re-indexed etc) by Googles search engine etc (Which we have discussed and proven on this blog recently and discussed here, in part);  https://issuu.com/fission/docs/fissionline-54

The June 2016 Pensions Appeals hearing in the Royal Courts of Justice was intended to be the last word on the Nuclear Veterans issue. The findings for the 14 appellants (of which I represented two—Don Battersby and Barry Smith—were intended to be automatically applicable to all test veteran pension appeals that came along in the future. To knock the issue of the test veteran illnesses on the head once and for all. In particular, it was the finding by the 2016 Tribunal under judge Sir Nicholas Blake, that the radiation doses received at the test sites in Australia and at Christmas Island were not large enough to cause cancer, or indeed any of the illnesses claimed, that laid down the law for all subsequent hearings. additionally, any other finding of that Tribunal (e.g. which cancers cannot be caused by radiation) could be used to defeat any subsequent use of the same argument in a new determination.
First let me write a few lines about justice and judges in England. Julian Assange, (Wikileaks) who is still in sanctuary at the Embassy of Ecuador in London, was recently told by a British judge that his new passport, issued by Ecuador, would not protect him from arrest if he emerged from the building. This is actually an assault on international law and the concept of passports. Assange attacked the judge for bias. He drew attention to an EU document which reported the results of a confidential questionnaire survey where judges in all the EU States were asked if they had decided a case in a direction under pressure from the government. Britain was one of the worst, only comparable with Albania, Bulgaria and Poland for lack of independent justice.
So, it was sad, but no surprise, that Blake, previously famous for the Deepcut Barracks decision not to investigate, refused to listen to our expert witnesses, ignored our Statement of Case, and effectively colluded with the Secretary of State’s lawyer, Adam Heppinstall, to avoid addressing any of the questions raised by our legal submissions. I myself subsequently made a formal complaint about Heppinstall’s behaviour to the Bar Standards Board.
The 2016 First Tier Tribunal process failed to follow the Directions made by Judge Charles in December 2014 and after Blake’s disgraceful decision I applied to the First Tier
(refused) and next to the Upper Tier (also refused) to appeal on this clear Point of Law. The Bar Standards Board did nothing. So, as the table from the EU study shows, England is a judicial Banana Republic. But never give up, never surrender! If 43% of British judges are dodgy, that means 57% are not. Certainly, the late judge Hugh Stubbs was an honest and  a good person. Between 2004 and 2010, I was responsible, as expert witness, in persuading him in five Pension appeals to find for the veteran. Then in 2014 Judge Charles threw me out as an expert witness and I was refused any chance to appeal that decision on a point of law. Not only that, I was fined £2700 in costs for having the temerity to try.

I came back as the representative, and fielded four Professors, as expert witnesses in the new First Tier under judge Blake. Although that case was lost, a development enabled me to have another go at this. That was the death from pancreatic cancer of Trevor Butler in 2016. Trevor was one of the appellants in the 2016 list, but for a range of conditions relating to immune system and kidney damage. Needless to say, Blake threw out his appeal with the others. But Butler died from pancreatic cancer during the case. And Don Battersby, whom I was representing, and who was appealing for chronic lymphatic leukaemia, also died from pancreatic cancer during the case. Barry Smith, whose widow I represented died of pancreatic cancer too, as did Alun Williams who was one of the original appellants. So that is 4 appellants who all died from pancreatic cancer out of 14 appellants who had been selected at random.

In the same way as throwing four sixes one after another in dice is extremely unlikely, this cluster of 4 pancreatic cancers is statistically impossible unless the victims had a common cause for their deaths from pancreatic cancer. It is like a 50-sided die with one of the sides being pancreatic cancer. Imagine the odds of throwing four of those in a row. We are bringing this statistical argument back to the Tribunal with an eminent statistician, Prof Roy Carr-Hill. But the issue of the pancreatic cancers is ludicrous at the out- set. Two of these, Battersby and Williams, had been given pensions for their pancreatic cancer (by Stubbs and following Stubbs) and two had been refused: told by Blake (relying on evidence from Geraldine Thomas, a biochemist) that pancreatic cancer cannot be caused by radiation. What a farce.
However, the question is:

How to proceed in a legal atmosphere constrained by the precedent set by Blake. It is no good saying that Prof Geraldine Thomas is a dishonest, ignorant and biased scientist, in no way an expert in any area she gave evidence on, and that nothing she said could be relied upon. In English law, a judge can find that Black is White, and you cannot come along afterwards and say that it isn’t. These radiation dose arguments, were all laid to rest by Blake. We have to find a way round.
And there is one. It is based on avoiding the concept of radiation dose altogether and focusing on a new approach, chemistry, or specifically the interaction between chemistry
and radiation: Radiochemical Genotoxicity. This is a perfectly valid argument. It is emerging science in the last 20 years that certain radioactive materials, when ingested or inhaled, are chemically attracted to DNA. It is damage to DNA, in the form of mutations, that results in cells that become cancerous. The radiation “doses” delivered by these substances, and calculated painstakingly by the SSD witnesses using the current radiation model, are of little use in predicting or explaining the genetic damage they cause, because it is a combination of their chemical identity and form which is responsible for their genotoxicity, their ability to introduce cancer-causing mutations.

The most important of these is Uranium. The Uranium content of the Christmas Island bombs was obtained for us from the MoD by judge Stubbs in 2012. He had to threaten the MoD to get the data, which was secret. In the Blake hearing, the SSD finally conceded that these data showed that 95% of all the solid material from the bombs at Christmas Island was Uranium, and that it amounted to 8 tonnes. It fell out as nanoparticles, on the island and in the sea. The material from the sea washed ashore on the island, contaminating the coast and coastal lagoons through sea-to-land transfer. It was inhaled from the air and ingested from contaminated water and food.
So our new case is based on Uranium; it entirely by-passes all the argument about “dose” on which previous appeals were fought. Then I said that we were bringing in a new argument—radiochemical genotoxicity.

This naturally upset the defence; but the judge said we could bring in our new evidence and experts, and that we had 28 days to do so and send it to the defence. The Secretary of State then had 28 days to respond. I prepared a Statement of Case for Trevor Butler in the allotted time, and presented expert reports by Dr Keith Baverstock, who has kindly agreed to act as expert witness, and by Prof Roy Carr- Hill, the eminent statistician. But the SSD (as usual, and as usual without any application or explanation) is now out of time.
There are 28 outstanding cases. Most of them are represented by the Royal British Legion. They have no defence against the argument that the radiation doses were too small, and I believe that they will all go down on this. But for Trevor Butler we have shifted the goalposts.

Novichok A234 – The facts – Exclusive to nuclear-news.net

After some research on Novichok i discovered that;
1/ Militarised Organophosphates (MOP) can be processed into a sticky oil or a fine powder and there are at least 4 types
2/ New Nuclear, biological and chemical NBC suits were developed before Desert Shield as the Novichok series of chemical agents were designed to circumnavigate the old Noddy suits supplied to the military.
3/ Novichok series compounds are detectable easily with testing equipment developed prior to Desert Shield
4/ It is very likely that an antidote was developed prior to desert shield (especially as Skripals daughter and the policemen are recovering)
5/ By making all references to Novichok series a matter of national security the OPCW was not told that these compounds were so dangerous thus allowing the USA and UK to keep such weapons on their shelves.
6/ Most of the Russian peer reviewed studies on this were done under the guise of fertiliser/insecticide production
7/ Although some of the precursors like SO2 are very nasty making this product difficult to produce a synthetic chemist in a lab could produce it
8/ Concerning the Polonium 210 poisoning of Litvinyenko, this polonium could have been synthesised by reducing radium tubes and dials etc reasonably easily

Toyoshi Fuketa: Chairman of the Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) – FCCJ

Screenshot from 2018-04-03 16:15:30.png

Posted by Shaun McGee

Posted to nuclear-news.net on the 4 April 2018

Q and A from Toyoshi Fuketa, the Chairman of Japans Nuclear Regulatory Agency (NRA) in the Foreign Correspondence Club of Japan on the 29th March 2018

The moderator began by stating that there would be no speech from Toyoshi Fuketa and they would move straight into the Q and A session.

Concerning the issue of the build up of the tritium laced decontaminated water, the NRA has held the view that only releasing it into the ocean was the only viable solution.

Should people be worried about returning to live in areas around the plant?

He replied that people should not consider any health risks in doing so…

(NOTE from Shaun McGee This issue is being debated still  in Japan –  https://europeannewsweekly.wordpress.com/2016/12/27/campaign-to-stop-bad-nuclear-health-practice-in-fukushima-concerning-thyroid-cancer-epidemic/ and https://europeannewsweekly.wordpress.com/2016/03/18/shocking-health-effects-in-fukushima-nuclear-workers-found-under-the-official-radiation-dose-limits/ )

…  limited numbers of people have returned but with few families with children doing so. The problem of infrastructure within these areas means that there are little in the way of schools, employment and that the ease of living there is difficult. He went onto state that was no health risk in the decontaminated areas.

Concerning the time that “complete” decommissioning would take, the moderator mentioned a few decades or even 100 years and the response was stated that this was an “ambiguous definition” that was “difficult to answer” for instance;

A totally cleared area returned fully to nature

An industrial area with certain areas sealed from the public.

The moderator said that now we know the earthquake was the actual cause of the disaster and not the Tsunami so what would happen if there was another damaging earthquake at the site and what would be the safety response? Toyoshi Fuketa responded that the earthquake did not trigger the meltdowns. The stored water on the site would be problematic but any contamination issues would not effect the surrounding areas and therefore there would be no reason for evacuation. The moderator mentioned after the answer that a Parliamentary committee had designated the Earthquake as the actual trigger but got no response to that. The next question quickly followed;

The issue of the Monshu nuclear reactor and the nuclear processing fuel cycle that has largely failed was mentioned and the questioned asked whether the continuation of this programme despite being a costly failure might be because of the needs of the military research and development?

Toyoshi Fuketa Said that the NRA concentrates on safety issues and with the help of the IAEA is involved in military research and development oversight.

Asked whether Japans nuclear plans for 20 to 22 percent of future energy being supplied by nuclear being realistic … said that the NRA has no opinion on this question but later in the Q and A … confessed a personal position that he would hope that Japan would develop alternative energies and an energy saving policies instead (his own specialisation being engineering and not nuclear specific engineering).

When the issue of the IAEA`s 2016 report mentioning 4 points there was a critique of the NRA

1/ Human resources and training

2/ The lack of a self questioning attitude

3/ failure in onsite safety inspections

4/ Japans large threat of natural disasters including volcanoes, earthquakes and Tsunamis being the a threat.

Toyoshi Fuketa said that there was a problem with funding, employment and training in that there was not enough funding available for best practise policies and implementation. Concerning the self questioning attitude the NRA relied on the input from utility companies whist using public forums and platforms, open to the public, for increased scrutiny and transparency. Also, the OECD had input and did reports (Full critiques of OECD report with sources can be found here https://europeannewsweekly.wordpress.com/2016/08/15/japans-dodgy-deep-geological-nuclear-waste-disposal-hopes-and-fears-2016/ ).

The reason given for the lack of onsite inspections mentioned in the IAEA 2016 report was to look at other countries with different policies using the USA and Switzerlands more safety conscious approach. The NRA wishes to use the USA policies and is in year 2 of a 3 year improvement plan which began in 2017 and that this was being developed with onsite agencies and other bodies.

The issue of Japans proclivity to natural disasters was deemed by Toyoshi Fuketa to be the “most contentious issue in the report. He went onto say “what is adequate protection”?

He said that Press challenges to the official reports were important in this regard and that made the NRA have to offer technical responses to questions raised in public debates but that the NRA would ultimately make its own technical decision on issues.

The next question concerned the different policies utilities have on their policies on safety and working practices and should all nuclear utilities come under one unifying structure (A national merger of the many utilities was mentioned) to simplify the complicated inspection and advice procedures found in Japan. …. said that Japan should develop the US model (or similar) where nominated safety officers at each plant hold monthly meetings (2017 report on the US NRA safety culture can be found here www.ucsusa.org/nuclear-power/whos-responsible-nuclear-power-safety/nrc-safety-culture#.WsOVtZ_OBhE ) to decide best practice on safety and other issues but he didnt mention any plans ongoing to deal with this issue.

The last question was from the moderator who asked if, in his personal opinion, would Japan stop using nuclear energy? Toyoshi Fuketa`s response, after a rather long pause, was to say that he wished for Japan to move further towards renewable energy solutions and to further reduce the consumption of energy. He mentioned that it would be difficult for Japan to completely stop nuclear energy production in the near future as the infrastructure and policies in Japan were not completely ready for zero nuclear energy yet. He finished of this statement by saying that “I am not originally a nuclear engineer but was a structural engineer”

The #FusionDoctrine #RIPA #JTRIG effect on the blog statistics causes a 50% decline from Google search

OK I have been harping on about this issue for some time and bothered to sit down and go through all the stats on nuclear-news.net to see if I could find any patterns.

Firstly, its worth looking at the years 2013/2014 when Theresa May as Home Office minister signed off on a Special Branch (MI5) action that left me homeless and without a job which I put up with as I was chased around the UK and Wales until I could run no more and had spent all my savings and credit lines to friends and colleagues. Then I was chased out of the UK for being a naughty Blogger smashing the nuclear industry and Facebook, Twiiter etc reduced the reach of this blog. T. May also updated the Official Secrets Act to include nearly everything in April 2014.

Secondly, came June 2017 when Theresa May, as Prime minister, called in the Social Media Giants to Parliament where she instructed them to filter out “Fake News” ie activists, NGO`s journalists and bloggers in conjunction with the USA authorities and even Democracy Now was targeted for serious Google search filtering.

Thirdly, Terrible May pushed for the RIPA laws that made legal that which was illegal (Human Rights stuff). Then this year she capped it off with a dose of the “Fusion Doctrine” making legal that which Special Branch was doing illegally to people like me, George Galloway and many others all supported by the most intrusive civilian spy system known to man ref E. Snowden.

It took me ages waiting for enough stats to come in to prove definitively that this blog stats have been manipulated as has many others (mostly without knowing it). For our regular subs, this will be no surprise but here are the stats in a nice clean spreadsheet so you can see the patterns and timing for yourselves.

I am sure I have a lot more to say about this but I will cut short the diatribe and just present you all with the evidence. You need to request our email service which will deliver the posts in full if you want to be informed about the nuclear madness currently happening in the world if you value you family and friends health and well being. Get active, the more there are the harder it is for the authorities to keep track of what is going on. As John Pilger said he has never seen things this bad!! And he is absolutely correct, the evidence is there if you can get around the filtering of information that is currently happening.

The problem with the BBC and Brexit – Response to Scientists for the EU

If I was a betting man I would say that the UK Gov will use Pesco funding and EU citizens rights as a bulwark against the EU Tax avoidance law and concede to a Norway style EEA agreement.. but they surely are not doing that? It is what the Atlantic Alliance would go for (ie NATO) as the UK could then continue as the leading country defending Northern region Fascist Latvia etc as agreed last year giving EU PESCO command of the southern region. So actually all this is a distraction for the plebs and copy for the journalists .. Just saying

UPDATE; Another helpful EU agency is apparently ESMA (security and markets authority) they have currently scared the living daylights out of many companies selling high risk financial ‘trading’ services…

Some food for thought here.. On the 1st January 2019 the EU will enact a new policy concerning tax policy and transparency issues concerning the same. Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/company-tax/anti-tax-avoidance-package/anti-tax-avoidance-directive_en

And the BBC has a pension fund;

“…BBC pension fund

One can also look at the top 20 equity holdings held by the BBC pension fund – of course, the BBC being behind the Panorama programme which aired on Sunday night on the Paradise Papers.The scheme has substantial investments in the following:
