Renewable jobs growth in Scotland

Letter Dr Paul Dorfman: Based on information from the Nuclear Information
Association, Scotland has added only 661 nuclear jobs whilst England gained
almost 47,500. However, in contrast, it has to be noted that according to a
recent Confederation of British Industries (CBI) report, net-zero and
renewable industries supports more than 105,000 jobs in Scotland and
contribute £10.2 billion to the economy, representing 4.9 per cent of
total economic output via 28,473 direct jobs, 57,153 supply chain roles,
providing an average salary of £41,800, paying 5.2 per cent higher than
the national average.
