Fracking brings high rates of uranium into wastewater
Fracking for Uranium Earth First Newswire, by John Upton, 17 April 13, “…….The U.S. Geological Survey found in 2011 that fracking wastewater wells in the northeastern U.S. were contaminated with uranium at levels 300 times greater than the national limit for nuclear plant discharges. Yet Pennsylvania has insisted that there is no problem. The state was reluctant even to test for uranium in fracking wastewater.
