Cloud of radioactive iodine reaches France, from Fukushima

text ionisingFukushima Doom Confirmed? France Hit By Iodine-131 Cloud While New Radiation Plume Expected To Hit West Coast Of America On Tuesday http://revolutionradio.org/?p=58394, September 22, 2013 By Paul Martin  A cloud of Iodine-131 has reached France while the recent 5.3 Fukushima earthquake is sending a new radiation plume around the world according to a recent story from Bobby1′sBlog. This latest plume is expected to arrive on the West Coast of America on Tuesday, September 24th. With radiation now spreading across the entire Northern hemisphere and no end in sight, are we reaching the ‘beginning of the end’? Two videos below confirm the severity of this ongoing doomsday situation.

An earthquake that rocked Japan just south of the Fukushima area shortly after midnight on September 20 (Japan time) sent a new plume of radiation across the Pacific Ocean. Apparently radiation measurements in this area have temporarily spiked.

This new plume would arrive on the west coast around Tuesday, Sept. 24. Previous earthquakes have also generated plumes. I remember that the one that arrived after the Jan. 1, 2012 quake was really nasty.

In a previous discussion Iodine-131 from latest criticality it was noted that the iodine spike in Chiba prefecture sludge was deposited in the period August 7 through August 20. According to CRIIRAD, Montélimar, France had spikes in alpha and beta atmospheric radiation on September 4-7. Rhône river water in Avignon showed a spike in iodine-131 on Sept. 7. The iodine cloud must have widened and dispersed quite a bit in its journey across the northern hemisphere… and 75% or more of it would have decayed by the time it reached France. So it must have been quite a substantial radioactive cloud.

Fukushima not only affects Japan, but the Pacific ocean, North America, and Europe too. Australia has had average radiation levels increase substantially, also.

  1. heres the evidence of european nuclear facilities causing those high iodine and radon spikes at criiirad and i show the Eurdep maps withh high peaks in the second video// i left a comment on the originator to let him/her know but no reply from them..

Report from South Dartmoor UK on rain soaked contamination de nuclaire of last week
. We did get hit from emmissions from France and it was mostly radon but likely with small amounts of cesioum etc.. i have been getting strong readings of the ground and i am continuing to check that out. more to come later..

I caught a doubling of the measurements in the air while it was raining. The clouds were coming from the south east. This hints at a problem at the Penly Nuclear power station.. Though there could be more going on too!

French prompt power prices bullish for next week as nuclear fears continue

    London (Platts)–23Aug2013/849 am EDT/1249 GMT

French prompt power prices were bullish for next week amid further delays to the return of at least five more nuclear reactors from maintenance periods, while another two units will be taken off the grid in unplanned outages this weekend, market sources said Friday.

Baseload power for delivery Monday closed Eur2 higher than Thursday’s assessment of Friday at Eur45.25/MWh, while the peakload price was up Eur4 at Eur55.25/MWh.

The weekend contract fell just 25 euro cent to Eur28.50/MWh on the day ahead of expiry, with Saturday valued at Eur31.70/MWh and Sunday at Eur24.60/MWh. Epex Spot settled Saturday base at Eur30.15/MWh.

Baseload power for delivery next week was changing hands Eur1 lower than the previous session at Eur41/MWh, but that is Eur13.75 higher than one week ago. The peakload prices last traded Eur1.85 lower on the day at Eur54/MWh, Eur4.25 higher than one week prior.

The latest RTE data shows that EDF has delayed the return of five further nuclear reactors to the grid, and will take another unit offline in an unplanned outage this weekend.

The utility has delayed the return of its 1.3 Penly 2 reactor to full capacity until late Friday, 900 MW Blayais 3 until September 1, 900 MW Gravelines 2 until September 13, 1.5 GW Chooz B 2 until September 27, and 900 MW Chinon B 1 until September 29, RTE data showed.

EDF’s 1.5 GW Civaux 2 reactor will also be taken offline in an unplanned outage on Saturday at 2000 local time (1800 GMT) due to a problem with the turbine, feed water and condenser sections of the plant, and is forecast to return to the grid at 0700 Sunday morning.

The reactor joins EDF’s 900 MW Cruas 1 and 1.3 GW Cattenom 4 units that will also be taken offline in unplanned outages this weekend.

Cruas 1 was due to be taken off the grid at 0400 local time Friday, due to a problem with the boiler, reactor and steam generator sections of the plant, with the return date set for 0900 local time Saturday morning.

The Cattenom 4 nuclear reactor was due to be taken offline at 2300 local time Thursday, due to a problem with the alternator, transformer and power cabling sections of the plant, and will not return to the grid until August 29.

Nuclear power availability is forecast to fall from around 41.4 GW Friday to 40-41 GW at the weekend, and 41.4 GW Monday, RTE data showed, while maximum national consumption is forecast to rise from 52.4 GW Friday to 53 GW Monday.

The latest CustomWeather data showed that temperatures in Paris will fall by 6 degrees Celsius from current levels to 3 C below the 14-23 C seasonal norm by Sunday, before holding at average levels Monday.

Those in Amsterdam, the Netherlands will remain steady at 2-3 C above the seasonal norm of 12-21 C over the same period.

The Dutch weekend baseload contract closed Eur1.50 higher than the previous close at Eur44/MWh, with Monday baseload failing to trade by midday London time but assessed by Platts just 25 euro cent lower than Thursday’s day-ahead price at Eur50.50/MWh, while peakload changed hands down by the same amount at Eur57.25/MWh.

A hard-headed look at UK nuclear power — Friends of the Earth decide against nuclear — New report decisive! The researchers urged us to advocate changes in energy use, supply and storage that are commensurate with reducing the UK’s emissions as fast as possible, and with the aim of securing a carbon intensity of electricity below 50g/CO2/KWh by 2030.

Nuclear releases over Europe – Penly, Catternom and the Budapest Medical Isotope Institute?

    Published on 28 Aug 2013

EURDEP is back on and it is showing VERY high peakd in Greece and moderately high peaks in the north western sections of Europe.. Multiple hits over the past few weeks.. And all covered up by EURdEP Germany? (I stand to be corrected.) And the Italian Eurdep has switched it back on (as usual..

Greece showing a MASSIVE spike as does some surrounding countries monitoring sites including Austria. I cant rule out Turkey but the winds can travel from hungary to greece via the coastal medittereanian route like it did in 2011 after the Hungarian Budapeast Medical Isotope Institutes HUGE releases just AFTER the Fukushima Daichi triple meltdowns. The IAEA even tried to blame the Japanese instead of the Hungarians the medical disaster.. The IAEA is respponsible for that reactor anyway.. Go figure….

Plenty of monitoring “gaps” at the Penly radiation monitoring stations..

Recent strikes can be seen too! Last time i checked yesterday night..

Watch the rain as we dont exactly know whats in it.. There could be many isotopes but my initial findings point to largely Radon.. which could be hiding other alpha and beta energy isotopes.. concerning the uk

3 and a half hours to upload this video 😦 blimey.. i better put the kettle on then.. 🙂
