TODAY. Cool thinking is needed on the Ukraine situation. Would Russia really blow up a nuclear plant that it controls?
A leader may popular, brave, hard-working, charismatic, and zealously against the evils of communism, – and a brilliant media performer.
But that does not necessarily mean that we should blindly believe everything that he says, or dutifully act on his advice.
Cool thinking is needed now, more than ever. Is Ukraine really winning this war?
Is it really wise to plan to pretty much encircle Russia with weaponry, with NATO at the nuclear-attack ready?
Russians still remember, and still endure, the effects of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster – which President Gorbachev blamed for starting the collapse of the Soviet Union.
We are expected now to believe that Putin is stupid enough to blow up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, because Russia is supposedly losing the war in Ukraine?
Really?
Consider the possibility that Putin is not stupid. Consider the possibility that Ukraine’s much-vaunted “counter-offensive” is not bringing about the complete rout of Russia, which is Zelensky’s stated aim. Even consider the possibility that Zelensky and his supporters are zealous enough to do this blowing up themselves, as a last-ditch effort to get NATO to attack Russia.
You do realise that a NATO attack on Russia will bring about World War 3?
p.s. What nobody is telling us about – how many Ukrainian soldiers being killed each day? the total Ukrainian military casualties?.

Americans all brainwashed as their leaders plot a nuclear war to destroy the world. No one cares.
A lot of us care. Don’t give up.
I’m wheelchair bound. I shall die soon. It only happened 3 years ago. I never believed, humans world destroy the world, with nuclear bombs. It apppears now, it will happen. Our leaders in the usa are so evil
to Angry. Evil. or just profoundly, utterly, stupid?
I am sad to learn of your plight. You surely have a right to be very angry. I just wish that millions of Americans would be angry, too – about all the injustices – and about the mindless march to oblivion.
This man lived in Russia as a correpondent, for years. He is from the usa.

Russia’s last coup in 1993 was fully backed by the Clinton Admin— when Boris Yeltsin sent tanks into Moscow to bomb Russia’s democratically elected parliament, gutting Russia’s fledgling democracy and replacing it with a constitutional autocracy, underwritten by DC and Brussels.
I sit in my wheelchair outside. I have some support to stay alive. I see homeless people, starving to death in the street. They are across the street. Fat people drive by in their vehicles. Many of them have big cars trucks, and suvs. They hate people, like me and homeless. It is so hot in most p)aces from global warming. Most people cannot be outside. The rich and super rich in this god forsaken, polluted country hate us. They are in the minority. Many children and our children, do not get enough to eat, in this evil, phoney country the usa. The war that this evil old demeted bastard biden, pours money into with its psychotic politicians. Posers that are republican and democrat. No democracy. The pretense. The disrespect and contempt, thatneoliberal democrats and fascist republicans, have for most of us.
I spent the last months talking to Russia experts about a possible coup. None of our scenarios included Prigozhin. The idea that the guy with a giant private army who went around talking about revolution would actually act was just too obvious–so we dismissed it. Can the bozo national security dimwits in the usa imagine the thug Prigozhin with nuclear weapons
Latest news is that Prigozhin has turned back from the advance on Moscow – done some sort of deal with Belarus. We now wait to find out what his punishment from Putin will be.
Inflation in the usa is terrible. War country
Why do the ukrainians want to further irradiate, their own country. Are they mad?
Well. ionising radiation knows no boundaries – so Russians would be just as mad. But I would not put it past the Zelensky regime to do it, as a way of blaming Russia. Zelensky is probably well caught in the grip of Nazi-style extremists, and probably his own life depends on toeing their line.
