  Both Trump and Biden are right wing militaryists. Trump was cutting social security, before he lost to Biden. He was actively trying to dismantle social security, and several other safety net programs that benefit most people in the USA. Trump will yet, destroy the post-office, in the time of an economic down-turn. The post-office downfall, is occuring, with Biden’s collusion. Trump was privatizing Medicare and, the VA. Trump hates public schooling, even though he ran a scam online University that billed suckers of millions. Trump abrogated most nuke treaties. He was leading and, is leading the USA to a civil war. He preachers ugly racism and division, at his ralley’s. The marching morons want a complete breakdown of society. Just anger, hate, and psychosis.
  
  Biden is making way for Trump. Trump killed a million, with covid. He was on the verge of using a tactical, nuclear missile on the Iran nuclear complex. A similar plan as the neoconservative Cheney and shrub plotted.
  
  There was a mass shooting every week under Trump.
  
  Like Tom tomorrow’s, “Parallel universe,” under George w bush, everything is upside down, Topsy turvy. Mass psychosis.
  The Mike Flynn is helping direct, the trucker convoy in Canada. It has little to do with covid vaccines. Most truckers admit they are vaccinated. They are political pawns.
  
  The Topsy turvey USA and Canada, world is like this:
  1. Fighting for free speech by banning books.
  2. Improving health care by banning public health and destroying the NHS in Canada.
  3. Protesting border closures by closing Canadian-USA borders.
  4. Saying they care about kids, by exposing them to disease.
  5. Fighting school shootings by, arming children and making more guns and automatic weapons available, to children.
  6. They say, they are behind the police. Boogaloo boys assassinated a policeman, to start a race war. Police were beaten and killed during the Jan 6 insurrection.
  Goofy old pelosi and other democraps, do nothing. They will be the first to be hanged, by the extrrmists, when psycho vengeful, Trump takes power.
  
  What is so very rotten, about Biden, is that he is going after Russia, when Russia is not an enemy. The neonazis in the Ukraine, could certainly be considered a menace. We have more rivalry with Europe, than we will ever have with Russia.
  
  Ignoring workers and, other acts by Biden, is disheartening, any support Biden has at a time of misery, in the USA has been flushed down the toilet by bidens collusion, callousness, and treachery. A trillion for the military, 100 million each , to weapons in the Ukraine and Taiwan. The workers are getting taxed to death and skinned alive, with no help from the likes of Biden. Trump and the now, institutionalized fascists, are greasing the way to come back in force, with voting restriction and extremist hysteria.
  
  America is in terrible shape, in spite of the lies posted by Msnbc, CNN, NPR, the NYT. So are UK and Australia. Biden is a puppet but, he has not yet destroyed the fabric of society enough, so as to collapse the society.
  
  There are the apocalyptic nightmares around us. Idiots want more nuclear reactors, since fukushima. The cold war has ended and there are more nuclear bombs, in the world, not less. More nukes, as the Ican treaty is signed.
  There is climate change. The oceans are heating. There are unprecedented wild fires, floods, hurricanes, enough to cause multiple nuke reactor meltdowns at any time, in 2 or 3, of the many, rickety old reactors in the USA, and elsewhere.
  
  Why is Trump even in the news, and not in jail? It is because, of money, fascism, greed and insanity. Please people, forget about that evil, insane, dumb, nebbish.
  
  Why keep bringing up this Dunning-Kruger moron, in anylight. Hopefully it will die out, some day.
  
  There aren’t enough nut houses in murica, for all the psychotic, racists, who support Trump, here in the USA. The usa is destroying the world and most of it’s citizens. There is not a lick of democracy, left in the USA.

Fascism is a Fire That Burns Down the Entire House

This past weekend, I attended a rally in my home city of Halifax. It was organized to counter the so-called “Freedom Convoy” which continues to hold cities hostage around Canada. Our gathering was intended to build solidarity and care for community. It was encouraging to see so many people come out to oppose fascism. I only wish more showed up.

Even though the other side is a minority in Canada, there were still many who came out to support the “Freedom Convoy.” They not only convened in parks. They were everywhere. In all honesty, I haven’t felt that uneasy since I lived in the States. Trucks with enormous Canadian flags drove down every street blaring their horns which, for some of the vehicles, was deafening.

I had already known that organizers of this convoy had a history of white supremacy and far-right ideologies. However, being present amongst them, it became very clear to this was not a movement, but a mob. The tactics they used were classic fascist bullying. Most didn’t care if people supported them or their cause or were interested in learning more. And most seemed more interested in intimidating people. What was also striking to me is how the authorities were friendly with many of them. I saw some of them chatting with them in a familiar and friendly manner. I’ve never seen that kind of thing happen at any of the protests I’ve attended that were anti-capitalist, against ecocide, antiwar or for Indigenous rights.

One thing I witnessed really disturbed me. An old man stood in the Grand Parade amongst the Convoy protesters silently holding a sign that read “support healthcare workers, go home.” He wasn’t shouting or getting in anyone’s face. But he was approached by several people who took a menacing stance toward him. One man approached him with his pit bull straining at the leash. The old man retreated. But the imagery had historic resonances that were undeniable.

The far-right has no answers to our problems except fear and the threat of violence. It thrives on the “us vs. them” or “good vs. evil” narrative because otherizing is so much easier than building community care and fostering solidarity between people.

Like the attempted coup in Washington a year ago, this Convoy has inspired similar far-right uprisings in Europe and elsewhere. And it seems evident that this is not going away anytime soon. If history has taught us anything, it is that fascism must be met with strong and unwavering opposition everywhere and every time it surfaces.

We cannot afford to think “oh this is Canada, not the States. It would never happen here.” Because the seed of fascism exists in every human society. And it only needs a combination of circumstances to explode into a raging fire. And if that fire isn’t contained at the start, it has the power to grow quickly and burn the entire house down before anyone can stop it.
