I do not believe the radioactive water from Fukushima should be released, even if all radioactive components except tritium have been removed. No tests establishing that it has have been published. That is suspicious. Secondly, even if it is true, the only reason to dump the water is to save TEPCO from having to pay for storage until the water is no longer radioactive. The reason we are faced with this catastrophe in the first place is because TEPCO didn’t spend the money to protect against the tragedy in the first place.
