The absolutely UNAFFORDABLE NUCLEAR industry – theme for June 2020

How many $trillions is the American government putting into the nuclear industry, especially nuclear weapons? With the USA essentially bankrupt, and the pandemic ushering it into an even more dire financial state – it’s a joke! Or, it would be a joke, if not for the hardship, suffering, poverty, brought upon its people, by this foolish financial extravaganza on behalf of a corrupt, dangerous and useless industry.

Russia, China, UK France, and soon Middle Eastern nations mindlessly follow this suicidal nuclear path.

The banking industry and other financial institutions join in the frenzy to feed this rapacioua evil of the nuclear industry.

Sadly so many jobs and community “benefits” are attached to it. It is going to take an enormous effort of brains, integrity, some sacrifice – to unravel the nuclear financial mess,.

But the world had better start unravelling it. Even without the worst outcome – nuclear war, this foul nuclear industry is going to devastate the finances of nations. and prevent action to stall global heating.

In this Covid-19 pandemic era, it is absolutely time to phase nuclear out, and help populations to transition to a cleaner world, where public money is spent on the things that people really need.

Why are there so many fires around nuclear sites? It is because the area is saturated with extremely pyrophoric radionuclides. This recent fire at Hanford went on to burn 9000 acres.

Pyrophorics can ignite spontaneously. They burn white hot, like the thorium, in the old mantle lanterns. Radionuclides are by far and above, the strongest pyrophorics known to man. They include most classes of radionuclides: actinides like thorium, uranium, transuranics like plutonium, alkali metals like cesium 137. They are highly reactive, in trace amounts. No media attention about it at all, except in episodic incindents like WIPP and the plutonium fires ar Rocky Flats. No mention of pyrophorics at Santa Susana or INL.
Nasty wildfires are common in moist industrial areas now. Especially in nuclear countries. In populated areas on the coasts of Australia, where people in cars, burn masses of hyrocabons, with uranium, radium and thorium traces in them. They also mine and export large amounts of Uranium in Australia. There are chemical factories, petroleum on the coast of Australia Refineries that create natural radioclide waste with, high concentrations of heavy metals and the natural radionuclides thorium, uranium, radium.
In the French Riviera and Greece. California. Scandanavia. China. Chernobyl. Japan. Wildfires that are serious threats to populations.
There is also a great amount of uranium residue, in the environment from fracking.
There are fires around reactors and other nuclear facilities. There was a major fire in the Ukraine, by a hi-level nuclear waste-containment facility.

There was a fire, at an Idaho low-level nuclear waste facility, not associated with INL.

That facility was recently closed down. There was a similar fire in an eastern Washington low level nuclear waste processing facility, that closed it down.
You do not hear much about radionuclide-pyrophoriocity and fires or wildfires.
Reactors emit pyrophoric radionuclides in water starved deserts like Palos verdes in arizona.
There is uranium mining, nuclear fuel production depleted uranium and isotope production, from nuclear waste. Massive flintlocks for drought and climate change related, wildfires.

Some of the recent, worst, wildfires are common around nuclear reservations in Russia, siberia and the USA. The wildfires in those areas, put large amounts of radionuclides into the air .

  Besides settiing up for a massivevnuke arms race and tactical nukes and proobable nuclear war trump has licensed reactors that should be shut. He has started unranium mining. He has deregulated nuclear reactor specs and supervision to the point of guarenteed nuclear catastrophe. He has not shorn up any reactors since fukushima.

How can you watch billionaires grow their wealth by $584,000,000,000 during a pandemic that throws 44 million Americans into unemployment and not think the system needs to fundamentally change?

You can’t really tell the difference between the parties anymore because of people like biden. They both support Oligarchy, imperialism, nuclear power. Nuclear arms. They support profits over people, mass incarceration, nuclear power, big oil, healthcare for the privileged, trade deals that hurt workers, mass surveillance, deporting immigrants and cheating us out of free and fair elections.
