Dear all, please do read the following article. A US student who stayed in Tohoku only several days even developed symptom of radiation exposure such as vomitting and nose bleeding.

Pregnant women and children have been living in these contaminated areas in Japan. Please help Japanese kids and future generations!

Dear Minister of Education Hakubun Shimomura,下村文部科学相へ

I use the words “in principle” because in April of this year I was forced to make one of the most difficult decisions of my teaching career at the tertiary level: I was forced to recommend to the university authorities where I was employed that they postpone their planned Study Abroad Program in Japan scheduled for the fall of 2013.
「原則的には」という言葉を使わせていただきます。今年4月、私は自分の高等教諭生活で最も難しい決断を迫られました。私が雇われている大学当局に、2013年秋に実施予定であった「日本での留学プログラム」の延期を勧告せざるを得ませんでした。

While I deeply regretted this recommendation, I honestly felt that in good conscience I had no choice. That is to say, in March 2013 I attended a two-day Fukushima-related medical seminar at the New York Academy of Sciences where I learned, for the first time, the full scope of the ongoing dangers posed by radiation contamination from the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant.

This knowledge was compounded by the fact that, upon returning to my home in Yellow Springs, Ohio, I was contacted by a 2012 Study Abroad Program participant who informed me that she had suffered from such symptoms as vomiting, nosebleeds and recurring headaches, all symptoms typically associated with radiation contamination. I was forced to take action.
2012年の留学プログラムから私がオハイオのイエロースプリングの自宅に帰る際、一人の参加者が、この時得た知識と似たような症状を呈していました。嘔吐、鼻血、しつこい頭痛、放射線汚染と関連する典型的な症状でした。私は行動せずにはいられませんでした。

True, the student in question made a personal choice to visit the Tohoku region during the individual research period that was part of the Study Abroad Program. Thus, one reasonable response would have been to forbid 2013 students from travelling anywhere north of Tokyo. As I considered this option, however, I could not but recall the warnings given by nuclear and medical experts both inside and outside of Japan concerning the danger of additional major radiation contamination coming from Fukushima No. 1.
Thus, I regretfully came to the conclusion that I could not expose students, especially female students of childbearing age, to the possible danger of radiation contamination, and informed the university accordingly.
実際、この生徒はこの留学プログラムで、個人研究の期間は、東北を訪問場所として選んでいました。そういうことで、2013年の留学では、東京以北への訪問は禁じることが筋のある応対だと思いました。
そしてこの選択を考える際、福島第一からくる放射線汚染の新たな危険性について、日本以外の原子力や医療の専門家からの警告を思い起こさずにはいられませんでした。
そういうことで、残念ながら私は生徒を被曝させることはできない、特に子供を産む年齢の女生徒を放射能の危険性に晒させることはできないという結論にたどり着き、その旨を大学側に伝えました。

Sadly, in the ensuing months the situation at Fukushima No. 1 has only worsened. Only recently Tepco finally admitted that 2.35 billion becquerels of cesium per liter of water, roughly the same as that measured right after the crisis began in spring 2011, has accumulated in groundwater tested around Fukushima No. 1, from where it then seeps into the ocean.

Needless to say, this amount of radiation is millions of times higher than Japan’s acceptable limit.
With this radiation now spewing uncontrolled into the ocean, it is no longer possible to simply avoid the danger by not traveling to the Fukushima area.

That is to say, fish are swimming in an ever more heavily contaminated environment where radiation bio-accumulates in the seafood. Thus the largest fish, which eat the most, often live the longest and swim great distances, become the most contaminated, and it is simply impossible for the Japanese government, or any government, to check every fish caught to ensure its safety.
すなわち、魚は魚介類に生体濃縮が起きるため、さらにひどく汚染された状況で泳いでいます。それで私たちが最もよく食する、長く生きて長距離泳ぐ大型の魚は、最も汚染されたものとなります。日本政府にもその他の政府にも、すべての魚を捕まえて安全性を確認することは不可能です。

Another solution I seriously considered was for 2013 program students to become vegetarians while in Japan. However, to my dismay I recently learned, from an article published by the Fukushima Minpo newspaper on Jan. 24, that the Japanese government plans to purchase contaminated rice grown in Fukushima Prefecture (providing it contains less than 100 becquerels/kg) and later sell it nationwide.
私が真剣に考えたのは、2013年のプログラムで、生徒には日本にいる間、ベジタリアンになってもらう事でした。しかし、がっかりしたのは、1月24日の福島民報によれば、日本政府が福島県で栽培された汚染米（１００Bq/kg以下を条件として）を買い取り、全国で売る予定であるということでした。

I fully realize, Minister Shimomura, that you are not in charge of decisions related to Fukushima No. 1. But as a Cabinet minister, l appeal to you to add your voice to those demanding that effective measures be taken immediately.
下村大臣、私はあなたが福島第一関連の意思決定責任者でないことは存じています。しかし、閣僚として、実行力のある対策を早急にとるように求めていってほしいと思います。

anectdotyl beats tepco, japan and usa government, areva and nsa lies
they have the measurments (thouggh they didnt measure alot?? just like chernobyl) to work out the “dose” but used statistics istead of real world data.. and the wakeford was kept gainfully employed doing that,, apart from his many media appearences and qoutes for the UK Science media centre..
i hope you will get a chance to critique the SMC posts i am/will be putting up as that lot are worth some discussion..

talking of chernobyl, Noro San in the above video was a nurse in Belarus!! and i have other evidence of a cover up in the chernobyl medical workers from the UK too! A nurse (who shall remain nameless for now) who is connected to the Imperial college university.

Please do comment on the Science Media centre posts as they will be coming to the USA in 2016, the have 500,000 dollars from edf etc in 20111 as a war chest.. they cant come over until the USA clamps down on its press freeedoms because the SMC doesnt stand a chance in the USA presentlly
why? you may ask? well the usa and europe are drawing up an international trade agreement that harmonises laws and permissable levels of contaminants.. the uk has already, if not soon be taking the more free usa standards 😦 Areva threatened the uk government DECC if they tried to be transaparent about it.. heres the evidence!

Geoengineering update –
The CSA noted the recent problems with the SPICE

geoengineering field trial, and
has involved the Science Media Centre in providing
publicity for the project. As chair of the cross-Whitehall
Geoengineering group, the CSA asked for the SAG’s opinion on the importance of reaching a joint government view on geoengineering. The Chair advised not to rush into decisions on government support
or otherwise for specific technologies. It would be preferable to wait for lessons learnt from other expert bodies e.g. SPICE project, and current Royal Society work on geoengineering governance (SRMGI).

Measuring radioactivity levels –
The CSA is interested in defining a scale for presenting
radioactivity/radiation dose levels for use in the
event of an accidental release, and a plan on what level of intervention to take at each level. Defra’s air pollution scale was referenced as a good example to follow.

In 2011 mr mackay “involved” the smc
the 2010 revenue was approx 450,000 bu the 2011 was 750,000
edf amongst others funds the smc that year and they now have 250,00 clear in reserve as a “war chest” for the future USA expansion perhaps?.
the money dropped again in 2012 to 2013 to the 500,000 mark with no single payments greater than 22,000 approx (5 percent of the total excpected income.).

In 2010 they dealt with wifi issues and the Wi-Fi alliance, vodaphone etc funded them

The radiation waste rules have changed in 2011 so that companies have to do less remidiation work..

The testing of welsh and scottish lamb has been stopped in early 2012

and this 2011 report shows us there is changes happening to the acceptable levels etc by tying it into normal pollution monitoring and risk assessment..

there have recently been calls to stop the monitoring of normal pollution in parliament (not sure how that one is going though)

I have documented numerous pollution incidence and obvious cover ups in the last 2 years.. Eurdep switched off to hide nuclear power plant releases and accidents etc,,

so the government brings the smc into action.. the mental health manager from the uk is dispatched to australia to support and help organise the japanese smc website and gets pro nuke austraian scientist and cancer experts (one with the same surname?) to comment on it to reassure the world and the financiers.

Also, WPP PR corporation personally helped the japanese government and tepco to smooth it over like they did the bp gulf oil spill (dont mention corexit!! but the norwegian report i saw mentioned corexit as something that might not be best to use..) . WPP and the legal corporations a s well as the finacial and insurance industries all had something to lose.. especially the military industrial complex and space tech that needs those isotopes..
and dont get me started on the health industry.. busy covering up this i suspect..

The telegraph uses the service as well (I bet f fox will change the climate debate if the opprtunity arises.. ie nuclear industry collapse) and move to a pro oil and fracking agenda.. like australia has (the government and most of the media.. the other media that is against it is up to their neck in legal challenges by the likes of Ashurst plc (currently hastling the owner of nuclear-news.net )
but the australian press is fighting back.. 😉 ???? hehe

The bottom line is that the bbc has likely sold horizon etc to bbc worldwide service Ltd and will be shown in china as fact.. but i have no firm evidence of that yet.. but it mat be the case that the trustees can claim no fault as they can blame the smc or in the case of old programming, not be responsible for it as it is sold to a private organisation.. blimey! what a web we weave !!
