TEPCO CONTINUES TANK INVESTIGATION http://youtu.be/kPSGu-BKl_c
(thanks RumorECurioso)
The operator of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant is investigating the leakage of radioactive water from a holding tank.
Officials at Tokyo Electric Power Company estimate more than 300 tons of highly radioactive water leaked from a tank near the Number 4 reactor this month. Some of the water is believed to have drained into the ocean through a ditch.
TEPCO officials said on Saturday the tank sank 20 centimeters into the ground in a test carried out in July, 2011.
They said the sinking may have deformed or damaged the tank. They said they are investigating whether this has anything to do with the leak.
However, they say workers disassembled the tank and reassembled it at the current site after a contractor confirmed that there were no problems with it.
TEPCO officials say there are 2 other tanks that also sank during tests. No radioactive water has been found leaking from them but workers will nevertheless transfer the contaminated water to different tanks.
The utility apologized on Saturday after it was discovered that a valve on a pipe connected to a barrier surrounding the tanks had been left open allowing the toxic water to flow out.

NEW LAND SURVEY FOR RADIATION STORAGE SITES
The environment ministry says it will conduct surveys of land in a town near the crippled Fukushima Daiichi plant in an effort to locate a suitable storage site for radioactive soil and debris.
Senior Vice Environment Minister Shinji Inoue notified the mayor of Naraha Town, Yukiei Matsumoto, of the plan on Wednesday.
The government will conduct surveys at 10 candidate sites in the town’s Namikura district starting in the middle of July. Officials say they obtained permission from landowners.
The area is about 10 kilometers south of the damaged Fukushima plant.
Senior vice minister Inoue said the survey will mark a significant step toward deciding on an intermediate storage site for radioactive soil and debris. He added that the government will work hard to build such a facility, although it is still in a preliminary research stage.
Mayor Matsumoto said conducting a survey does not guarantee that a storage facility will be built in the town. He said he will carefully monitor the results.
The government is planning to build intermediate storage sites for contaminated soil and debris at 3 towns around Fukushima Daiichi plant. One of them, Okuma Town, has already approved the survey.
The decontamination of land in Fukushima is lagging due to a lack of storage sites, as residents near the proposed sites fear the spread of radiation.

are you fucking kidding me “little bumps in the road?!!!”
Fukushima breaking news; THEY KNEW dick Cheney and his cousin, kevin d blanch 8/24/13

Just like 9/11 as they bought putts on the airline stocks as I was a derivative trader at the time, I knew that the trades where, easily traceable and a freshman forensic account student could FIND the trade AND WHO TRADED IT, in 5 minutes, THEY KNEW, which it is widely reported now, HSBC the QUEEN , fox news them self’s, just like we know now who funded the 3/11 nightmare, the D.O.E. the nuclear energy carteL. And it’s WHORES,
Stay un-tuna-ed kevin d. blanch as I live to tell
