Wylfa expected to get nuclear go-ahead for mini-reactors this week

Sources say an announcement is expected from UK Government. North Wales
Live has been told an announcement is imminent from UK Government – with an update expected on Thursday. This latest expected update follows news in recent days that the potential flood risk at rival site Oldbury had pushed Wylfa to the front of the nuclear queue. Both sites are owned by UK
Government.
