 North Wales Chronicle 4th Sept 2025 , 4th September

ANGLESEY planners are to consider the removal and relocation of a redundant building for the processing of ‘non-active waste’ at the island’s former nuclear power station.

Anglesey County Council will to asses a full application regarding ‘Building 187’ for use as a ‘non-active waste clearance facility’ at the decommissioning Wylfa site.

Plans state: “The relocated facility will allow for a larger, safer and more efficient building as Wylfa moves further into the decommissioning preparations phase.”………

The plans concerns a 0.10 hectare site, and incorporate areas to “store and aid the collection of waste.”…………………………………………………. https://www.northwaleschronicle.co.uk/news/25441505.anglesey-planners-consider-relocation-wylfa-building/
