In the UK ”a disarmament week of actions against nuclear threats- ‘Faslane Action for Bomb Ban ‘ starting June 6

 Anti-nuclear protesters will be staging a camp on the Rosneath Peninsula
next month. They will be travelling from Bristol for a ‘disarmament week
of actions against nuclear threats’. Trident Ploughshares, who first
appeared locally in the late 1990s as TP 2000, and XR Peace are planning a
‘Faslane Action for Bomb Ban’, starting on June 6.

They will bring a
large CND symbol on a trailer and hold photo opportunities in Chester,
Carlisle and Glasgow en route to the peninsula, where they are expected at
12 noon on Thursday June 9.
