  1. I fear that because NuScale is owned by Fluor that they will be installed in rural areas for oil and gas, and mining operations. Holtec SMRs will probably be installed in rural India. Even though it isn’t really funny I got a good laugh out of the Swiss documentary on their small reactor where they said that reactors weren’t like bombs and didn’t blow up … but theirs did. After 45 years the tritium discharge increased… aparently because the accident activated the hydrogen in the concrete bunker. The fuel was carried to storage elsewhere. The Swiss Lucens reactor which blew up looks exactly like NuScale but was 1/10th of the size and was deep in a mountain. There is a famous spring water brand which may have been contaminated nearby. A bit late to learn now if we drank any. Lucens had a different cooling system.. I think more like the UK reactors. The SL-1 reactor which killed workers in Idaho was also a small reactor.
