Mueller Remarks As Delivered May 29, 2019: “If We Had Confidence That The President Clearly Did Not Commit A Crime, We Would Have Said So”; Formally Accusing Trump Of Wrongdoing Falls To Congress (i.e. Impeachment)
“if we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime… the Constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting President of wrongdoing…” (Special Counsel Robert Mueller, May 29, 2019)
In other words, they did not make a determination of whether Trump committed a crime, and the US Constitution requires the US Congress to impeach (indict) Trump, and not the criminal justice system.

Special thanks for this reblog. I listened and relistened at least six times to try to see what I could gather from the intonation, etc., but it hasn’t gotten the attention I would have hoped. Some of his speaking style (intonation) seems to be from his University of Virginia law school days, or maybe it is DC.
