  1. I have a Doctorate, in a science discipline. I worked at the NY Poison Center. I worked at Los Alamos. I was a Radiation Health Physics Tech, at a nuclear complex, before I finished University.

I have a portable Scintillometer. I have a cheaper rebuild, gamma spectrometer, that works.
I have some expensive Geiger counters that I play with as an amateur scientist, these days, since Fukishima.

Using fusion as a way to generate nuclear energy, creates high levels of Neutron radiation and some Gamma radiation. Gamma and neutron radiation, are extreme forms of radiation.

It is hard to contain fusion reactions. They would have to use zirconium shells, in fusion reactors to contain the neutron radiation if it were carried out on a commercial level. .

One of the major problems with Fusion, is the the constant degradation of zirconium and other containment by neutrons.

Nuclear fusion creates nuclear waste in the forms of tritium and irradiated Zirconium containment.

Course none of the hucksters, conartists, thieves, and liars that slop from the public trough, will talk about this.

They will not talk about these major problems because, there are billions to be made from the ponzi schemes, the cons, the fraud associated with such hi-tech-hard engineederd boondoggle.
Why mess with it when there is so much hi-tech solar, wind, other renewables available.
