¶ British demand response specialist Flexitricity Ltd said National Grid has adopted its Footroom service, which can make use of excess wind power. ¶ Lekela Power, a pan-African renewable power company, signed a deal with the Egyptian government to build a 250-MW wind power station in the Gulf of Suez area at an investment of $350 million.
