At least some Clean Energy laws have been coopted, taken over, or pushed by huge corporations that hide behind the scenes, but pull the strings of political, media and non profits through various mechanisms.

In many cases, bills and laws with ‘Clean Energy’ in the title or body are actually proposals being pushed by either the nuclear or carbon industry behind the scenes. This article lays out how this hidden behind the scenes string pulling and corruption of the law making process works, and how the Citizens Climate Lobby law promoting carbon taxes is actually promoting nuclear power, plus being ‘pushed’ by pro nuclear industry promoters such as James Hansen.

WHAT IS THE FEE AND DIVIDEND CARBON TAX LAW?

Fee and dividend is the main policy approach advocated by the Citizens Climate Lobby organization.[2] The organization Citizens Climate Lobby, which advocates for such an approach, argues that a fee and dividend policy will be easier to adopt and adjust than more complicated mechanisms, thus enabling an economically sound transition policy that supports monetary economy needs, and the new energy economy, as required.[3] James Hansen, Director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies has been working on raising awareness on ‘Fee and Dividend’[4] through his position at Columbia University,[5] and an open letter discussed in The Guardian.[6]

In other words, this is a law being pushed by the nuclear industry, because they will directly benefit from it, while squashing the competition. James Hansen is for all practical intents and purposes, the ‘leader’ of the Citizens Climate Lobby group, as he lays out the vision that the organization then endorses and carries out via many followers of Hansens’ vision of a world filled with thousands of nuclear plants.

Global warming and climate change is a real threat, but many of the ‘fake solutions’ being proposed are coming from the very industries that are the source of the problem. Huge monopolistic industries such as the nuclear power industry, are promoting laws from behind the scenes, in a hidden way. This article points out how the nuclear industry is actually behind the Climate Lobby, and is pushing it, because they would directly PROFIT from this law. If this law passes, it weakens their competition, the carbon fuel industry plus it hampers the renewable energy industry.

Simple: The Clean Energy Act funds mountain top removal for dirty coal, new nukes and ineffective bio-fuels, but NOT clean energy.

This law is just one example of how the huge carbon and/or nuclear energy monopolies create laws tht sound good on the surface, but if one digs below the surface, one can find out what the real agenda is. Most people never go beyond the title or the surface layer of a law, and most legislators never even read the bills that they vote for, so huge corporations can get away with just about anything these days, while misleading millions of people.

The deception continues on even today, via the carbon taxes proposed by the Citizens Climate Lobby group, which is being promoted and pushed by the nuclear industry promoters, such as James Hansen.
