World Trade Organization (WTO) Rules Against US Food Labeling – Safety; Unlabeled (Force Feeding of) Radioactive Japanese Food Coming Soon
The US allows up to 1500 becquerels (radioactive emissions (shots) per second) per kg (2.2 lbs) of radiation in food, whereas Japan allows “only” 100 becquerels per kg. In other words, the US allows 15 times more radiation in its food than Japan does. Anyone of these radioactive shots can induce damage to the cell eventually leading to cancer, or other radiation related disorders.[1] Ingested plutonium and americium stay in the body with a half-life of around 20 years to 50 years, where they continue to cause damage (bioaccumulative).
Japan has taken Korea before the WTO because Korea doesn’t want Japan’s radioactive food: https://docs.wto.org/dol2fe/Pages/FE_Search/DDFDocuments/133952/q/WT/DS/495-3.pdf Taiwan is joining Korea. They don’t want radioactive food either: https://docs.wto.org/dol2fe/Pages/FE_Search/DDFDocuments/132656/q/WT/DS/495-2.pdf
Canada and Mexico do not want the US to label its meat anymore. No labels means no way to opt out of radioactive Fukushima-Japanese food, unless you grow your own-befriend your local farmer. While you…

Fabius said of the current situation, “We’ve made progress but still a lot of work remains to be done. Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed.” [CleanTechnica]
COP21 Facilitators – Meeting go on around the clock.

Flood Warning

Terrible news coming in on the floods in West Cumbria with millions of pounds worth of new defences being breached. The BBC Helicopter relaying images of the awful devastation has very carefully avoided showing areas in which the growing number of nuclear installations have been dumped on this flood prone land:
Sellafield, Drigg, Lillyhall and the proposed new nuclear plant on the river Ehen floodplain, Moorside.
Why the journalistic omission? Why are there no questions being asked about the breaching of Cumbria’s growing number of uncontainable nuclear installations which already leach “with a controlled release of radioactivity” into Groundwaters, Marine Holding Tanks and such like?

COP21:
¶ The European Union has formed an alliance with 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries in a final push for agreement at COP21. The new alliance has agreed to a common position on some of the most divisive aspects of the proposed deal. The EU will pay €475 million to support climate action in the partner countries up to 2020. [BBC]
The EU and 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries announced a new alliance at climate talks in Paris
¶ Some of the best news of 2015 about our ability to resist and adapt to climate change is the powerful increase in numbers of subregional and panregional governments, businesses, and cities taking action. Part of the Lima-Paris Action Agenda, Energy Day at COP21 put the focus squarely on this key to approaching and surviving climate change. [CleanTechnica]

Holtec, Lockheed Martin, and the NJ Political Machine?
“People often talk vaguely of ‘the Norcross Machine,’ leaving many to wonder if the Norcross family is truly as corrupt as we are led to believe. Yet here we are, exposing the undeniable dishonesty and immorality of the monstrosity that is the Norcross Machine…. In 2014, Holtec’s president donated $10,400 to Mr. Norcross’ congressional campaign Camden’s Machine Boss George Norcross is on their Board of Directors.” http://www.alexlawforcongress.com/#!follow-the-money/h6ubd
Although we are unable to definitively say if Norcross operates a political machine or not, some clearly believe that he does. The information, below, looks bad, especially given Holtec’s history of bribery-kickbacks.
https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2015/02/05/why-was-holtec-debarred-as-tva-contractor/ (Read more about Holtec by searching in our blog and here: http://sanonofresafety.org/holtec-hi-storm-umax-nuclear-waste-dry-storage-system/)
“The EOA Act was Mr. Norcross’ signature legislation during his time as a member of the New Jersey State Senate. It has funnelled hundreds of millions of our tax-dollars into his family’s companies and other…

Nuclear Free US Presidential Candidates Sanders and Comley
Bernie Sanders, Democratic Presidential candidate, is one of the three US Senators who have consistently shown concern about Nuclear Safety, along with Senators Boxer and Markey.
“Create a Clean-Energy Workforce of 10 million good-paying jobs by creating a 100% clean energy system. Transitioning toward a completely nuclear-free clean energy system for electricity, heating, and transportation is not only possible and affordable it will create millions of good jobs, clean up our air and water, and decrease our dependence on foreign oil.
[…]
Begin a moratorium on nuclear power plant license renewals in the United States. Bernie believes that solar, wind, geothermal power and energy efficiency are proven and more cost-effective than nuclear – even without tax incentives – and that the toxic waste byproducts of nuclear plants are not worth the risks of the technology’s benefit. Especially in light of lessons learned from Japan’s Fukushima meltdown, Bernie has also…
