Soon after the earthquake and the nuclear accident, Doctor Tsubokura of the University of Tokyo drove his car to Fukushima to look for ways to help. He arrived by chance in Minami-Soma. Many physicians had fled, and he was immediately employed by the city hospital. He led an extensive research on internal radioactive contamination among the citizens of Minami-Soma.

Tout de suite après la catastrophe, le Docteur Tsubokura de l’Université de Tokyo a pris sa voiture, et il est parti proposer son aide à Fukushima. Il est arrivé par hasard à Minami-Soma. Beaucoup de médecins avaient fui, et il a immédiatement été employé par un hôpital de la ville. Il a mené une étude extensive sur les taux de radioactivité interne des habitants.

東大病院の坪倉医師は、震災後、自発的に福島に出向き協力を申し出た。南相馬に来たの­は偶然であったが、すぐそこの病院での診療を手伝うことになった。そして、そこで住民­の内部被曝の数値を計りデータをとり続けている。
