Skydivers held by US military after accidentally landing on nuclear submarine base when wind blew them off course

DAILY MAIL  14 August 2012 | Two skydivers were detained by the US military after accidentally landing on a high-security nuclear submarine base in Georgia when wind blew them off course.
The US Navy didn’t look kindly on the two intruders — even though they said they only drifted onto the base on Sunday by mistake.
Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, along Georgia’s coast, is home to eight nuclear subs — including six with ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
The situation was further complicated when the military found that one of the parachutists was not a US citizen and did not have his passport with him, the Florida Times-Union reports. …….  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2188361/Skydivers-held-US-Navy-accidentally-landing-nuclear-submarine-base.html#ixzz23f4hrbSf
