U.S. Sends Radiation-Hardened Robots to Battle Nuclear Threat in Japan, Forbes, 31 March 11, The United States government has dispatched an elite squad of radiation-hardened robots to reinforce overwhelmed emergency working battling the relentless threat of nuclear catastrophe at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plants……
The robots could be sent into areas that would be dangerous for humans to enter because of high radiation levels.
