FPL customers invited to nuclear safety culture meeting Sun Sentinel By Julie Patel January 6, 2011 Florida Power & Light plans to discuss its safety culture and how to improve it at Nuclear Regulatory Commission meeting in Palm Beach Gardens on Tuesday.
FPL Spokesman Mike Waldron said the meeting is about promoting a culture of safety in the workplace, not operational safety. “We requested the meeting as part of our ongoing effort to update the NRC on the strength of our safety culture and the steps we’ve taken to implement industry best practices,” he said. “This is part of our effort to improve dialogue, openness and collaboration at all levels ensuring no matter what the activity, safety comes first.”…..House Keys | Sun Sentinel Blogs | FPL customers invited to nuclear safety culture meetin
