Earth Hour 2010: Respond to Climate Change through Energy Conservation, March 26, 2010 by Tracy Edenloft In this times of global climate change, we are called upon to act for energy conservation. This year 2010, various cities all over the world will be celebrating Earth Hour 2010 as we turn our lights off for 1 hour on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.
Various countries will participate in this year’s Earth Hour 2010 dubbed to the the largest gathering of participants which aims to surpass last year’s Earth Hour.
Lights in various iconic buidings and landmarks all over the world will be turned off that includes Eiffel Tower in Paris, Empire State Building in New York, Burj Dubai in UAE, Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, among others.
