These documented facts substantiated our fears of groundwater pollution from this type of mining. The threats also include cancer to people, livestock and wildlife, other health problems associated with contamination from heavy metals, drop in property value because of the associated stigma, costs to the taxpayer to clean up the mess.
Funny that industry has not told us these facts.

Hoping that uranium mining will do no harm is just that: hope. It will not protect us from harm.
