Yankee extension increases risk

Rutland Herald Charles McKenna 20 April 09 “………………………..In addition to the release of radioactive materials during normal operation and the continued production of nuclear waste (for which no permanent disposal method has been found), a nuclear plant allowed to operate beyond its design life increases the risk of catastrophic failure.
