NDP’s Boucher Rymhs to take nuclear opposition to national level
 FAIRVIEW POST (Canada) by Chris Zwick 23 Sept 08 Adele Boucher Rymhs just finished one political campaign earlier this year as the NDP’s candidate in Peace River during the provincial election, now she has put her name forward once again, this time for the federal New Democrats……………………..

“From the beginning it was a matter of us having a concern about water issues, and then we looked into it and soon you find that nuclear is a condition that will effect the whole world and for a long period of time. So it becomes an issue that affects children, the economy and agriculture. It’s more than just energy and environment,” she said.

The more she looked into it, the more she opposed the prospect and she has been a vocal member of several anti-nuclear groups ever since……………………“This is an industry that is almost passé: they have financial difficulties, they have a credibility issue, and there are a lot of concerns that don’t allow them to build in other places,” said Boucher Rymhs. “It’s just a business deal to them; to us it’s a lifestyle.”
