The wilful ignorance of Tony Blair — The Earthbound Report

Recently I listened to Michael Liebreich and Tony Blair in conversation about climate change. The topic of degrowth came up, with Liebreich saying that there were roughly two schools of thought on sustainability. There was degrowth, which he characterised as “stop the economy, I want to get off.” And then there’s the view that he […]

If you want to understand Tony Blair listen to Ellsworth here.
not sure what you mean here. But from my reading – Tony Blair is indeed corrupt.
Ellsworth’s raison d’etre is to rule by understanding the base tendencies and weaknesses of people.
He manipulates their delusions, plays on their guilt, and subverts morality, to soften up society, for a future of half asleep imbeciles who are easy to have power over. “Voting by smiles” and “Can you rule a thinking man? We don’t want any thinking men”
Tony Blair, and the rest of the elites like him play this game.
They play divide and rule by keeping the various societal groups squabbling between each other. Set black against white, rich against poor, culture against culture. If we fall for it, our eyes are on each other, not them.
The right always did it by scapegoating. The left cultivate communities with genuine grievances, to be their political weapons. They use them to attack their opponents. Then when power is achieved, the downtrodden are forgotten or gaslighted into obedience.
The people of all communities should indeed unite, but not for the conservative, or the socialist, but for each other. They want power, our freedom gets in their way. See them for what they are
