The changing sentiment towards supporting renewable energy and reduced carbon emissions as a national goal is definitely a sign of the times. It shows that there is increased awareness not only of the impact that we are having on the environment (in terms of climate change) but also of the success of renewable energy projects which have been coming onto the grid faster than ever, such as the new solar projects in southern California and Nevada.
